i smile —but she doesn't see

"he didnt do anything you see? he just played"

what follows? balance i think that's the important part it's a sort of mastery of all the disparate ele/ailments in our lives. gracefully engaging and disengaging from things, and the hard part is reflecting (on) them and synthesizing them. the future of the cell phone -and handheld technology- is spooky. and balance is important in everything, the toughest one is balancing others's (ie the earth's homeostasis) because they are microadjusting as well (hopefully1).

1 are microadjustments substantial enough? are macroadjustments unfeasible? thinking of Sunday Times Syndrome, where people read whoaa mind-expanding news and then the next morning are already spooked by the responsibilities of how to do monday's schedule and blahblahblah, whatever more immediate thoughts —not the world-turning-upside down capital-T Truth from the sunday times article.

poem princess
that stoic pretty maiden/figurehead
tilted over onto the handrailing
looking at the projection of herself
on all the walls in the place
blam blam blam
the bass blasts
but no matter
not to her
no way
she's fixied right there look at her all saturated
with herself
down below they look at who is she holy moly
she makes theirs night
hers

i wonder about echolocation and whether it is better than sight because echolocation is more efficient or something. is it a better sense? like did dolphins economize their brains better? would they be superior (at least brainwise) to us if only they'd come out of the water? the communis sensus is that sight carries more bandwidth is bandwider than hearing. but we communicate via sound waves. sight is mostly waited on communication, it is far more difficult to do physical labor and perform sign language than to simply speak. and plus the world is way scarier when you see when waking up in the morning before hearing it
